Most RF absorbers are made from carbon-loaded polyurethane foam, ferrite tiles, or hybrid materials designed to absorb electromagnetic waves effectively.

Many broadband absorbers operate from around 30 MHz up to 40 GHz or higher, depending on the absorber design.

Common shapes include pyramidal absorbers, wedge absorbers, convoluted foam absorbers, and ferrite tiles.

The pyramid structure increases the surface area and gradually absorbs electromagnetic waves, reducing reflections effectively.
