Fully Anechoic Chamber

Fully Anechoic chambers are widely used in both EMC and Antenna chambers for test application which required ground absorbers and fully lined Pyramidal wall absorbers. DMC FAC series can be utilized in Automotive, Military, Telecom and Defense test applications.

DMC-FAC-3M (3meter Fully Anechoic EMC Chamber)

Page-2-Image-5

DMC-FAC-3M is a Fully Anechoic Chamber or referred as FAC Chamber with 3 meter measurement distance. This chamber is similar to a semi-anechoic chamber, except absorbers are placed on ground plane as well to simulate a free space environment. It is made up of DMC-PAN series self-standing shielding, ferrite tiles and Polypropylene based hybrid absorbers on all walls, ceiling and floor.

DMC-FAC-3M can be used for fixed height pre-compliant radiated emissions as per CISPR-16-1-4 and compliant radiated immunity measurements as per IEC 61000-4-3

Frequently Asked Questions

A fully anechoic chamber is a shielded room with RF absorbers on all surfaces that absorb electromagnetic waves and eliminate reflections, creating a free-space testing environment.
It is used for antenna measurements, RF testing, EMC analysis, wireless device evaluation, and radar testing.
A fully anechoic chamber has absorbers on the floor, walls, and ceiling, while a semi-anechoic chamber has a reflective floor.
Most chambers support testing from 30 MHz to 40 GHz or higher, depending on the design.
Telecommunications, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, and research industries commonly use them.
Absorbers prevent RF signal reflections and ensure accurate measurements.
Common measurement distances are 1 m, 3 m, or 5 m.
Yes, chambers can be customized in size, frequency range, and testing equipment.
It provides accurate results, eliminates reflections, ensures repeatable tests, and supports international EMC standards.
