Forklift Noise Testing with Assembly Type Chamber
Client’s Requirement
As a forklift and transport robot manufacturer, our client sought a reliable method to measure the noise generated during the up and down operations of their products. With a focus on both loaded and unloaded scenarios, they required precise noise data to refine their designs and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, accommodating the varying heights of high-mast forklifts posed a unique challenge that needed addressing.
Our Solution
At DMC, we understand the intricacies of noise measurement in industrial settings. Leveraging our expertise in acoustic solutions, we proposed the implementation of an assembly type semi-anechoic chamber. This chamber, specifically designed for noise measurement, offers the ideal environment for accurate data collection. To address the height requirement for accommodating high-mast forklifts, we customized the chamber to have an effective height of approximately 6 meters or more.
Utilizing a prefabricated semi-anechoic chamber X type, we optimized space utilization on the walls and ceiling by incorporating compact wedge HV02W for the sound absorption layer. This strategic design not only maximizes efficiency but also ensures consistent and reliable noise measurement results.

With the installation of the semi-anechoic assembly type chamber, our client now possesses a comprehensive solution for noise measurement during forklift operations. The tailored design of the chamber, including its height accommodation and space-saving features, enhances the efficiency of their testing processes.
