Client’s Requirement
Our client, a leading name in the industry, sought a robust method to measure the blocking performance, or transmission loss, of glass installed in residential automobiles. They needed a reliable solution that could accurately assess sound insulation between rooms, ensuring superior quality and compliance with stringent standards.
Our Solution
Drawing upon the expertise of DMC, we introduced a groundbreaking solution that marries efficiency with precision. Leveraging our extensive experience in acoustic technology, we designed and implemented an assembly-type reverberation chamber coupled with a simple anechoic chamber.
The assembly-type reverberation chamber boasts a novel structure crafted from steel plates, offering superior sound wave reflection capabilities. Unlike conventional chambers constructed of concrete, our prefabricated design optimizes ease of installation and versatility without compromising on performance.
Complementing this innovation is our new product, the Broadband Acoustic Control Board (BFB), engineered to serve as a sound absorption layer within the simple anechoic chamber. This strategic integration enhances the accuracy of sound measurements by minimizing unwanted reflections and ensuring a pristine acoustic environment.
Result
The culmination of our collaborative efforts is a cutting-edge solution that exceeds expectations. Our assembly-type reverberation chamber, coupled with the innovative BFB, facilitates precise measurement of glass transmission loss between rooms. By harnessing advanced acoustic technology, we empower our clients to deliver products of unparalleled quality and performance.
At DMC, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in sound testing. With our expertise and dedication to excellence, we continue to redefine industry standards and drive meaningful progress in acoustic engineering.
