Aluminum Honeycomb Acoustic Panel is a kind of sound absorbing panel which composed of perforated face skin and perforated or un-perforated bottom skin and aluminum honeycomb core.

Due to honeycomb core in the aluminum honeycomb acoustic panel are divided into a large number of closed cells, the air flow is prevented and the sound waves are obstructed. When sound passes through acoustic panel, the intensity of sound is decreased and the sound absorption coefficient (can be up to 0.9 or more) is improved. In addition, it can provide more freedom for designers due to its excellent attributes such as high strength and light weight.

Fiberglass Aluminum Honeycomb Panel is made of fiberglass skins on both sides and core in aluminum honeycomb materials. These panels are highly durable and widely applied. Our company can make fiberglass honeycomb panels according to your needs and detail drawings.

Tips: Fiberglass skin and aluminum honeycomb core are two different materials, so it will be a galvanic difference between them. In the case of marine field applications, we do not recommend the use of this kind of honeycomb panel.

Fiberglass honeycomb panel is a kind of lightweight sandwich panel that can be applied in a wide range of fields. It is manufactured by sandwiching an aluminum honeycomb core between 2 skins of fiberglass prepreg, The fiberglass prepreg skins are cured by hot pressing and then completely bonded to the aluminum honeycomb core.

Features of fiberglass honeycomb panels:

1. Using fiberglass prepreg to creates structural skins that offer high tensile strength and compressive strength, dimensional stability, design flexibility and excellent electrical resistivity.
2. To increase the stiffness of the fiberglass honeycomb panel the thicker aluminum honeycomb core can be used without substantially increasing the weight and cost of the final product.

Lightweight Honeycomb Panel

Lightweight Honeycomb Panel is an aluminum sandwich-type panel with high rigidity and extremely low weight which is made of honeycomb core, surface aluminum plate and bottom aluminum plate adhesive with environmental protection glue. The main materials are high-quality 3003 or 5052 aluminum plates for surface panel and bottom panel. It is an ideal material for a most of application in architecture, transport, display, etc.

Usually, the surface aluminum panel is treated with PVDF coating or PE coating. PVDF coating is suitable for outdoor because of its wide property of anti-weathering, anti-contamination and self-cleaning. Due to Polyester(PE) paint’s excellent characteristics, it can achieve versatile vivid color and higher gloss rate than PVDF, It is ideal for interior wall, decoration and signboard materials. And it can greatly reduce your cost.
