Client’s Requirement

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive industry, sought a complete solution for their testing laboratory. They required wind tunnel equipment integrated within a semi-anechoic chamber to conduct precise assessments of their products. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of efficiency and minimal on-site construction time.

Our Solution

Drawing on the expertise of DMC, we devised a comprehensive solution that met and exceeded our client’s requirements. Leveraging our experience in RF and acoustic anechoic chambers, we combined wind tunnel equipment with a prefabricated semi-anechoic chamber. This integration allowed for precise aerodynamic testing within an environment optimized for accurate acoustic measurements.

This auto parts acoustics testing semi-anechoic chamber, constructed with T-250 sound-absorbing wedges, offered exceptional sound isolation, ensuring reliable test results. To facilitate ease of access and minimize construction time, we designed a loading entrance with a specially crafted door measuring 4,000 W x 2,500 H. All sound insulation panels were prefabricated, streamlining the on-site assembly process.

Furthermore, all essential components, including splitter-type silencers, rectifier plates, and ducts, were manufactured in-house by DMC. This vertical integration ensured seamless compatibility and optimal performance of the entire system.
